How Life Is Beautiful Yet Fleeting

I saw some Facebook friends changing their profile photos into black or a candle to express their loss. Then I am reminded of how short life is.

As Mother Teresa said, “Life is an opportunity; benefit from it. Life is beauty; admire it. Life is a dream; realize it.”

Our brief lives are like festivals. No matter how short-lived it is, it should be celebrated. We have reason to live our lives to the fullest. Let us make use of the borrowed time. Take the chances we are afraid to take. To be kind and show appreciation towards every person around us.

That is the wonder of our existence. Life is too precious to squander it, wallowing in self-pity and regret. We may experience some setbacks along the way, but it is never too late to change our course.

After all, life is fleeting. Make the change you want to happen.

When we experience the loss of a loved one, it’s okay if we are still grieving. Some of us need time to digest our sadness and move on. It's a process.

It is an opportunity to reminisce happy memories with them, to cherish what they have left behind.

I wish you all a peaceful All Souls Day. Let us remember to be thankful to the departed for sharing their time with us. May they find rest.

Let us also thank those who are still present amongst us — for making this life worth living.

Let’s ignite and celebrate each life. Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog!
