Let us do a short breathing exercise first. Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for a few seconds, and then exhale through your mouth. How are you feeling?
Breathing exercises are effective approaches to de-stress and calm oneself down. It raises our awareness, allowing us to center ourselves, and connect with our truths.
Why should we do breathing exercises?
For starters, we can do it whenever and anywhere we want, and in any position we are most comfortable in. There is no need for any special equipment. Because it requires so little of our time, it is ideal for beginners and busy people.
On the plus side, it also brings a lot of health benefits. Taking deep breaths sends messages to our brain to activate our rest and digest system. It is effective in lowering stress levels and blood pressure. It also relieves tension, allowing us to reboot, recharge or refocus. It is an effective way to keep ourself healthy physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
