I am a hugger! Hugs never fail to make my heart happy. What else can be more comforting than a hug from friends and loved ones? When we are happy, we offer hugs to celebrate. When we are sad, nothing beats a warm hug with a reassuring hand rubbing our backs.
Even when the pandemic went on the rise, our virtual hugs were enough to comfort people with our presence. No matter how far apart we are from one another, we still get to express our love and care.
Studies have already proven that hugs are essential to us. For better health, we have to at least hug someone for 20 seconds. Our brains release oxytocin or “the cuddle hormone” to lower our stress and blood pressure levels.
Hugs are also beneficial for strengthening ties with our loved ones.
All of the words we are unable to communicate can be encapsulated in a hug. Our loved ones will immediately understand.
We develop empathy, which allows us to bring understanding and harmony into our interactions.
Sure enough, that’s the magic of hugs. When the world seems to go crazy, a hug is enough to put everything back into place.
Have you given someone a hug today? Go hug someone today, and let’s live a life ignited.

Have you ever felt that you are the only one enjoying something, but you had no one to share it with? A lot of big things start from a series of small things.
Let us imagine ourselves in a room full of candles, yet only one is ignited. How can we make it brighter? By simply passing on the flame from that single candle.
We all aspire to have big things. We all wanted to create an impact — a mark in this world. How can we turn something small into something bigger? Here are the things we should remember:
1. ) Take courage
Great things happen because there are people courageous enough to start on them. Risks are inevitable but it’s better to take risks than regret not taking any.
2. ) Spread the word
It’s not enough if you keep it to yourself! You have to spread the word. Share it with your friends, loved ones, and even acquaintances. Show your ideas. Make yourself visible.
3. ) Try again
We must create a space for us to grow. Outcomes tend to differ between reality and ideas. We shouldn’t put too much pressure on ourselves. Pressure tends to remove the joys in the things we do.
4. ) Be thankful
No matter how small, each one of us can create an impact. We would probably never know how many lives we have touched in different ways. Let us give back the same support we have received!
Happy Bonifacio Day!
Remember that changes happen through passing on inspiration and building small blocks of improvement.
Let’s live a life ignited together!

Each one of us wanted to be heard. Every celebration, concern, question, and complaint: we all need someone to listen to us. When people pour out their feelings, listening is always enough. We sympathize and understand others better.
Listening improves connections. People will trust us and open up to us more if we listen. Communication is a two-way street, and effective communication fosters harmony in our interpersonal interactions.
We could process what made them feel that way, how it happened. And if they asked for a bit of advice, we could always offer ours.
It lessens the conflicts and stress in our social links. It feels good if we have no conflicts with the people we are close to, right?
We learn new things when we listen to others. This is why our parents and instructors constantly tell us to listen while someone is speaking. We never know what kind of new knowledge will we acquire.
We become more productive. It puts our memory to the test when we take notes while listening to a seminar or workshop.
Listening is beneficial in our work lives. Feedback from superiors, colleagues and clients is valuable. It enlightens us on how we may grow and innovate. It opens the door to better projects, collaborations, and much more.
Let us begin to listen more to love more. Let’s live a life ignited! Subscribe to my blog now!
