Letting go has never been easy. Looking back, I found myself deadheading home without turning back. A big question mark loomed inside my head. I love flying - as a flight attendant, as a cabin manager, as a cabin crew leadership trainer. It provided me with unforgettable moments, strong bonds, and a sense of security.

Despite it all, I chose to resign. I have clipped my wings yet a wave of relief and excitement washed over me. I thanked God as if I had hit the jackpot. It felt as if a blank canvas was handed over to me. I was free to use whatever medium, and go crazy with colors of varied hues and tones,

Yes, I had to let go of flying, a profession that had been closest to my heart for 27 years

In exchange, it made me realize how much power I have to touch lives and guide people holistically to reach their peak performance!

As much as we enjoy certainty, have you ever yearned to do something new yet something is holding you back? Want to take the risk and let go but unsure where to start? Here are some questions that we should ask ourselves before making that jump:

  • What are my reasons for wanting to let go?

  • Am I truly prepared to make the jump?

  • What are the possible plans I could make during and after the transition phase?

  • What should I do if things don't go as planned?

Once you have definite answers to those questions, then it’s time to decide whether to stay or to go. Letting go does not mean the end; it’s a transition, a new journey towards fulfillment.

Winners don’t remain in places where they do not see growth. Once they have accomplished something, they advance to the next level. They consistently train and challenge themselves to achieve peak performance.

A lot of us felt pressured to be stable and successful at a certain age. I have met so many people who felt lost because they felt like they’re not getting any success. Whenever they would scroll in social media, they felt like their peers were faring way better than they do.

Success is more than fancy cars, fancy dinners, and wearing designer clothes with big shots.

Success is how we define it. It can be something like designing the elevator going to space or helping people reach their peak performance. Success is something made with a series of meaningful accomplishments. It entails prospering in the things that bring us joy in our hearts.

Each of us has our circumstances. We have our ways of harnessing our strengths, improving our weaknesses, and facing our obstacles. So stop comparing yourself to what you see on social media and get rid of your self-doubt. Don't put too much strain on yourself.

Just keep going and your success will follow.

There is this one time I was just resting and decided to scroll through my Facebook feed. I saw some Facebook friends sharing this post with the captions: “Money cutie”, “Promotion cutie”, and so on. Think of anything under the sun and add “cutie” at the end. Then their manifestations came true, and I was overjoyed for them!

But let’s go on the flip side. What if manifesting doesn’t work? Have you ever tried to manifest anything you wanted but nothing happened? What is the explanation for this? Here are a few reasons below:

1.) Self-sabotaging thoughts

Doubts and anxieties are our greatest adversaries. The mind is powerful. Your thoughts become reality.

2.) Unclear manifestations

One thing in manifesting is that we should be specific with what we need.

3.) Not appreciating partial manifestations

Good things come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. How can we appreciate the big things if we can't appreciate the small things?

4.) Not taking action

It is not enough to simply wish. There should be some sort of action. To attract opportunities is to take action.

5.) It’s the ego talking

Sometimes we manifest things we don't actually need in order to appease our ego. Consider karma. If you do good, something good will return to you.

6.) Not trusting the process

The right things happen at the right time. Some of us tend to rush things only to get frustrated later on. Take a long, deep breath. Relax. Let go and trust in the cosmos.

7.) Fear of change

When manifestations are heard, it indicates that something in life is about to change. We must be prepared to make some changes so we can reach betterment.

Things may come up and cause us to lose sight of what we genuinely need. We may get distracted and overburdened. But that's okay; the great things that are meant for us will make their way to us.

Let’s welcome and have great things together. Let’s stay connected, subscribe to my blog!
